Bosch has refined the concept over the years with the TS2000 gravity rise stand that comes packaged with their portable jobsite table saw. That stand has always had glowing reviews, and they have improved it over time. Now you can purchase the same stand repurposed to fit your miter saw.
The Bosch Gravity Rise Stand is another one of those tools that gathers almost universal praise. You are hard pressed to find someone who does not think that the T4B is an exceptional example of a wheeled miter saw stand. Bosch has owned this position in the wheeled stand segment of the table saw market for some time and has now established itself as the one to emulate in the miter saw stand niche.
The patented Bosch Gravity Rise system conquers one of the main disadvantages of other wheeled stands – the often difficult struggle to raise the stand with the heavy saw attached to the upright position. Unlike those other stands the Bosch moves effortlessly into the upright position.
As Charles Lamb said when reviewing this stand -
“I originally purchased a Rigid mobil Miter Saw Stand and it is a back breaker to try to set up with just one person. Not only are you lifting the weight of the saw or some portion of it, you are lifting the majority of the weight of the stand and their release lever is below the foot steps that are supposed to help in this process and for some us unable to reach the floor with our hand while our feet are a foot off the ground, this is all but impossible… I purchased a Bosch job site table saw mounted on one of the Bosh Gravity Rise Stands and fell in love with it.”
The Bosch T4B Gravity Rise Stand also has:
- 8″ pneumatic tires that allows you to move your miter saw across difficult terrain with easy
- Universal rapid release tool mounts that let you mount your saw to the stand even if it is not a Bosch
- Support rails that expand to a total of 18 feet, giving you best in industry material handling capability
- Adjustable leveling feet so you will have a secure platform no matter the working conditions
In his Amazon review Leon S. said:
“This is my best tool purchase in years! It has made using my miter saw so much handier. Inside the shop, it is as sturdy as a stationary bench. Then when I need, I can roll it out and set it up outside or load it onto my truck. The wheels are large enough so that rolling it across crushed rock is no problem. I especially like the support rails. . .”
If you are looking for an attach-the-saw-to-the=stand-and-leave-it portable miter saw stand the Bosch T4B is the one to own. It really only has two negatives attached to it.

The first is that it is heavy. But all miter saw stands in this category are heavy and the Bosch T4B miter saw stand is nto the heaviest. In order to gain the type of mobility and stability it’s users demand it has got to be pretty substantial. This is offset by it’s ease of use.
If you value lightness over the other considerations check out the DeWalt DWX723 stand – the top of it’s class for lightness and ease of use.
The only other knock on the Bosch gravity rise stand is it’s price. Now, we all have our opinions on the trade-off between price and quality. I personally have never regretted spending the money for quality tools, but I have often regretted buying cheap ones.
